Christmas at Biltmore:

See America’s largest home decorated for the holiday Season. Candlelight Evenings are magical!
 
The Polar Express:
Friday, November 13th, 2015 – Sunday, January 3rd 2016
Bring this storybook to life on a trip to the North Pole created by the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad.
 
RAD Studio Stroll:
Saturday, November 14-15th
Check out over 150+ artist at work and do a little holiday shopping in the River Arts District.
 
National Gingerbread House Competition:
Wednesday, November 18th– Sunday January 3rd, 2016
This is one of our favorite Holiday traditions, viewing the imaginative and artfully created gingerbread designs at the Omni Grove Park Inn is a must.
 
Winter Lights at the N.C. Arboretum:
Friday, November 20th, 2015 – Saturday, January 2nd, 2016
Stroll through impressive light displays in the Arboretum gardens, especially designed to compliment the plants and trees in this beautiful setting.
 
Asheville Holiday Parade:
Saturday,  November 21st, 2015
Marching Bands, floats, dancers, and the LaZoom Bus returns this year for the 69th Annual Asheville Holiday Parade. It kicks off at 11 a.m. on Biltmore Avenue and South Charlotte Street and then heads north on Biltmore to the Vance Monument. Grab your viewing spot early!

From 10:00 to 5:00, you can shop your heart out while enjoying a peek into the eclectic Marshall High Studios on The Island, touring resident artist studios and taking in the work of local artists, designers and craftspeople handpicked by the artists of MHS.
