Hey beer drinkers/lovers……….heads up.
Welcome to this periodic blog regarding the beer scene in Asheville/WNC.
Who am I to give you my advice and observations?
Good question.
I’m not a beer expert/connoisseur, but I do know what I like.
I’m a proud member of the boomer generation……….I’ve been drinking beer……..legally………for 50 years.
I’ve been to ALL 70 existing breweries in the 23/26 WNC county area.
I’m anxious to visit the currently announced 7 new breweries coming on line over the next year or so.
So what shall we talk about?
How about good beer, great venues and exceptional service.
Wake up…………it’s everywhere and you need to get out and experience it.
Sure it’s nice to have a “home brewery” to call homebase, but don’t get stale……..explore.
Where shall we start?
Howse about we mix it up and geographically explore WNC……Asheville proper as well as North/South/East and West.
My goodness we are surrounded by the great elixir
So follow along and become an explorer of the beer scene.
I’ll do my best to help you and welcome your comments about your experiences and preferences.
